Who wrote the technical brief for training?

Three people were involved in the creation of our model. A former public procurer wrote the generality of the technical brief. A trainer then completed the document by inserting aspects related to the field of training.

Finally, the document was formatted by our graphic designer.

Our daily job consists in responding to calls for tenders on behalf of companies. We have had more than 1000 positive responses! Based on this, we are convinced that our technical brief for training will help you win your call for tenders.

How did we create the technical brief for training?

Each company, each trainer has its own training techniques. In addition, and depending on the kind of training, it is obvious that the process, the tools and the program will be different.

For practical reasons, we could not write a technical brief for each type of training.

We have therefore decided to generalize by offering you a technical brief for training that meets most of the buyer's expectations:

  • Presentation of the human resources assigned to the training;

  • The organization of human resources and the single point of contact;

  • The methodology implemented as part of the training;

  • The educational tools used;

  • The methodology put in place for the acquisition of skills, knowledge;

  • The dematerialized platform (e-learning, learning management system LMS) implemented as part of the public market contract/private call for tenders;

  • The technical means used in the context of the training;

  • The company's quality control;

  • The CSR policy (Corporate Social Responsibility).

Today, we have the feedback of several buyers about the public market contracts to which we have applied. We have gotten excellent grades on the technical part.

It is thanks to our experience and to the expertise of our team (former public procurer) that we have designed our technical brief in training.

The personalization of this document will allow you to meet the technical evaluation criteria in an optimal way and to get your public market contracts!

What are our tips to respond to the market of training?

The buyer's requests can be extremely broad depending on the type of training: modern languages, communication, urbanism, management, finance, IT, prevention, etc.

Depending on the type of training to be delivered, it is essential to have the trainer’s CVs to prove the expertise/experience of the trainers in the topic requested.

Do not hesitate to subcontract someone external or form a temporary joint venture for the training courses for which you have no internal skills.

Once this has been done, take the time to read the consultation rules: do you have the time to respond to the public market? Are the assessment criteria appropriate for your training business? Are the prices too high?

Then go through the specific technical clauses (CCTP) to make sure that you will be able to carry out the training courses requested.

After that, analyze the financial documents for the part of the work that interests you (BPU, QDE, DPGF etc). Are your prices consistent with the prices being asked? Do you notice any inconsistencies? If that is the case, consider asking questions! Give prices that are consistent with the needs of the public procurer.

Finally, start writing your technical brief. Take our model and personalize it according to the specifics of your training business and the buyer’s evaluation criteria. They can be found in the tender documents (RC).

Do not skimp on this last point, remember to always respond precisely to the criteria of the public procurer. This is what you will be evaluated on.

Do not forget also to make sure to have an electronic signature certification in case it is requested by the public procurer (see consultation rules).
